A quiet day today just bimbling around the campsite. We did a 'Dutch' on Elly and she's now spick and span inside and out ready for the final leg to our yoga retreat. She also required fumigation as we managed to accumulate mosquitoes unawares yesterday evening. Unwares that is until I was awake around 2 am and noticed the demented buzzing by my ears. Fortunately they don't like biting me, alas the same cannot be said of Mr G who has been 'got' multiple times. There ensued several hours of swotting in the hope of being able to get back to sleep. This was only partially successful on the sleep and eradication front as there were still one or two around at breakfast time. Not a restful night! However, the campsite shop had the required insecticide so hopefully ... fingers crossed and all that, tonight will be better.

We also managed to get all the laundry up to date as well so we'll start our villa break with everything tickety-boo. It's been hot today, 25 degrees and sunny all day. We spent some time swimming in the open air pool on site and then sat in the sun for a bit. It even felt slightly like a holiday!
I shall post again tomorrow once we've arrived at Villa Ugo, after the first yoga session, then sign off till we arrive near Florence a week today. Downtime is mostly certainly required.
